Radiologists faced obstacles in accessing training; the Commission is now calling for dialogue with the local Order.

The controversy between the Foggia TSRM Register Commission and the leaders of the provincial TSRM PSTRP Order is intensifying, having been publicly accused of "obstructive and unmotivated" behavior that would have blocked any initiative aimed at the professional growth of the Medical Radiology Technicians in the area.
Through an official statement dated 6 August 2025 , the president of the Commission Marzia Recchia , the vice-president Antonio Baldinetti and the councillors Francesco D'Errico , Anna Mazza and Amalia Bisceglia expressed "deep regret and disappointment" for the continuous denial received from the Order, denouncing a management defined as "unacceptable" and contrary to the founding principles of the professional body.
“Block all our proposals”According to the press release, all the proposals put forward by the Register Commission —including training activities, scientific events, and projects to enhance the profession—were systematically rejected or ignored . This conduct, according to the signatories, directly harmed TSRM professionals in the province of Foggia , depriving them of concrete opportunities for professional development and improvement.
"It is unacceptable," the statement reads, "that regularly registered professionals, who pay the mandatory annual fee, are excluded from programs that are essential to the advancement of a modern, safe, and competent healthcare service."
“The principles of the Order have been betrayed”The Board of Directors emphasized that the obstructionism encountered undermines the very role of the Order , which was created to protect and enhance each member. "Such behavior betrays the spirit of service to the professional community and tramples on the right to training and dignity of radiology technicians," they accuse.
While respecting the ethical and statutory rules, the group reiterated its desire to continue its institutional commitment with determination , acting as a spokesperson for the needs of the TSRM in the area.
Call for dialogue: "Constructive discussion is needed."The Commission, while adopting a harsh tone, does not close the door to dialogue ; rather, it hopes that the public denunciation will represent a turning point. "We trust," the statement concludes, "that our appeal will persuade the Provincial Order to adopt a more open and collaborative approach , in the common interest and in full compliance with the rules."
It now remains to be seen whether and how the leadership of the Foggia Order of Radiology Technicians (TSRM) will respond to this alarm raised by representatives of radiology technicians. This institutional fracture risks directly impacting the quality of local healthcare.
