Heavy rain and lightning. The severe weather continues to rage in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the yellow weather alert remains in effect until midnight tonight. Although the rainfall did not cause significant problems on the ground—no reports were received by the Civil Protection operations center in Palmanona overnight—the entire region remains vigilant, particularly in the afternoon and evening, when thunderstorms could be intense in some places. Volunteers and firefighters have been mobilized for this purpose.
