The 88th edition of the Fiera del Levante focuses on social issues: no exhibitors from war-torn countries; tickets will support UNICEF.

The 88th edition of the Fiera del Levante , scheduled for Bari from September 13th to 21st, will be dedicated to the present and to social commitment. "We too must do our part," declared President Gaetano Frulli . "We want to make the most of the Fair's strategic role in creating connections." This year's theme, "Blow to the East: Peace Builds Bridges, Trade Crosses Them," responds to a particularly delicate historical moment.

No exhibitors from countries at war and support for UNICEF

As reported by Repubblica Bari , one of the main changes is the decision not to admit exhibitors from countries at war. Israel, Russia, Palestine, and Ukraine will therefore be absent from the Gallery of Nations. Furthermore, the Fair has been chosen as a UNICEF hub: 5% of each ticket price will be donated to the promotion of children's rights. Symbolic moments include the presence of the statue of Saint Nicholas and a mass in memory of war victims, which will be held on the second Saturday of events.

Tradition, business and new technologies

Alongside its strong social focus, Campionaria will continue to be a commercial showcase. The pavilions will host sectors ranging from automotive to furniture, from construction to wellness. There's great anticipation for the debut of the Pulse Pavilion , entirely dedicated to technology, startups, and artificial intelligence. The food village and wooden children's carousels, with activities and spaces specifically for them, are also confirmed.

"The Fair is for everyone," Frulli emphasized, "and we're working to offer activities for all ages. We want to enhance the sense of tradition, allowing consumers to spend a different kind of day, combining business and leisure."

Conferences and entertainment evenings

The Campionaria will also feature a rich program of conferences: five meetings are scheduled on topics such as ecological transition, job opportunities, and relations with the United States. Gender equality, pay equity, schools, and universities will also be discussed.

A packed program of performances is planned for the evenings in the 47 West area: Cristiano Malgioglio , Ivana Spagna , Renato Ciardo , and Coma Cose will take turns on stage. The grand finale will be brought forward to Saturday and entrusted to Uccio De Santis , chosen as the symbol of the closing of an event that, in the words of the president, "is no longer just about economics, but also about fun and culture."

Tickets and times

Admission tickets will cost €2.50 if purchased online, or €5 at the ticket office. On September 13th, the fair will be open from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM; from September 14th to 21st, it will be open from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Area 47, dedicated to performances, will close at midnight.
