The Lockerbie Case: Between Document and Fiction

The documentary brings us closer to reality
If it is possible, is the truth more easily reached through a documentary or a work of fiction ? The answer would seem to be for the documentary, obviously where there are real facts. But things are not always like this.
For example, there are two interesting programs on Sky at the moment. The first is a documentary called Lockerbie , the true story of the attack and the second program is a television series called Lockerbie, the attack on Panama flight one zero three and it stars, among others, Colin Firth.
So what happens? It happens that the story is so intricate, there were 270 deaths because the plane fell in England and on a village, so people who were there by chance also died. It was not known then if it was an attack by Libya, Gaddafi or Iran, in short, a very complicated story. But the most interesting thing is that the real protagonist of both stories is this Jim Swire, that is the father of one of the victims who meticulously dedicated his entire life to the search for the truth.
Now this happens that, as much as the fiction is. It is well done, it is very, very emotionally involving, well, I assure you that the real interviews with the father, the documents, so many documents that are there, are something that really envelops you, that assails you. For once the documentary brings us closer to the truth.
