The long line of trucks carrying humanitarian aid: this is what happens at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Since Sunday, the Israeli army has begun a limited 10-hour-a-day truce

(LaPresse) Dozens of trucks carrying humanitarian aid from Egypt have begun heading toward Gaza for the second consecutive day. The vehicles were headed to the Kerem Shalom crossing to undergo checks before being allowed to enter the Gaza Strip . Images show trucks queuing to cross the border after the Israeli army began a limited 10-hour truce in three populated areas of Gaza on Sunday . The truce is part of a series of measures adopted due to growing concerns about hunger in the territory and international criticism of Israel for its conduct in the 21-month-old war. After ending the last ceasefire in March, Israel blocked the entry of food, medicine, fuel, and other supplies into Gaza for two and a half months, saying it wanted to pressure Hamas to release the hostages.
