Sustainability in Action: ESGnews Conference at TUTTOFOOD on May 6th

Sustainability in Action: ESGnews Conference at TUTTOFOOD on May 6th

With a turnover of 263 billion euros, 3.4 million employees and 1.2 million companies, the agri-food sector is one of the pillars of the Italian economy. A dynamic sector, but also under pressure from geopolitical conflicts, climate change and new regulations. Elements that could potentially push the transition of the sector towards more resilient and sustainable production models.

It is precisely in this scenario that TUTTOFOOD fits in, the main B2B agri-food fair, of which ESGnews is a partner for sustainability . The event, which takes place from 5 to 8 May at Rho Fiera Milano on over 150,000 square meters distributed in 10 pavilions, will see the participation of 4,700 companies, of which more than 25% come from abroad, from North America to the Philippines, from Spain to Egypt. For the occasion, over 90,000 visitors and 3,000 top international buyers are expected, ready to meet the protagonists of the transformation of the sector.

As part of the partnership, ESGnews is organizing the conference Sustainability in Action: How to Report ESG Commitment and Results in the Agri-Food Sector , scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 10:30 am at the Better Future Arena (Pav. 3). The meeting will explore tools, metrics and best practices to effectively measure and communicate the impact of ESG strategies, with the aim of generating shared value and consolidating stakeholder trust.

In an ever-changing market, transparently communicating your commitment to a fair, healthy and sustainable food system is no longer an option, but a necessity. Not only to meet the expectations of increasingly aware consumers, but also to meet the requirements of banks, investors and institutions.

The round table, moderated by Alessandra Frangi , Founder and CEO of ESGnews, will see the participation of Valeria Brambilla , CEO, Deloitte & Touche, Elisa Dellarosa , Head of Corporate Governance and Sustainability, Crédit Agricole Italia, Angelo Riccaboni , Professor of Business Economics and President of Santa Chiara Lab, University of Siena and Piero Gabrieli , Marketing Director Petra Molino Quaglia.
