Bernardo Mennini will be Forza Italia's top candidate in the upcoming regional elections for Arezzo and its province.

Arezzo, July 22, 2025 – A press conference was held this morning at the Hotel Minerva in Arezzo, during which Forza Italia Regional Coordinator Marco Stella presented the first names on the list for the upcoming regional elections in the Arezzo province constituency.
Leading the list will be Bernardo Mennini, provincial coordinator of Forza Italia Arezzo, joined by Mery Cornacchini, provincial councilor, Carlo Menci, municipal coordinator of Sansepolcro, and Lucia Cherici, representative of the E-Lab association, who will discuss experiences from the liberal area.
The list will be completed in the coming weeks with four more candidates.
Marco Stella expressed great satisfaction with the choice of Mennini as head of the list, calling him "a capable person, an administrator with vision and competence, ideal to lead the Forza Italia list in our province."
Stella also enthusiastically welcomed the other candidates, underlining "the vitality of Forza Italia in Arezzo."
Bernardo Mennini thanked the party for its confidence, declaring: "I accept this role with enthusiasm, ready to honor my commitment with territorial battles that strengthen Forza Italia's consensus. We will work on concrete issues and programs, aligned with citizens' needs, to best represent every area of our province."
These elections are very particular elections because they are taking place without any national political party support.
The elections will therefore be based primarily on territorial issues and on the ability of each individual candidate to promote ideas and programs between now and the election campaign.
Arezzo must regain its leading role in healthcare, be central to mobility policy planning, and be able to promote regionally supported incentives for small and large businesses to develop greater job opportunities.
We will promote our regional program, focused on relaunching our province in regional policies.
We will include proposed ideas that our party and our candidates will carry forward if elected to the regional council
Forza Italia is the largest civic list in Italy and our list in Arezzo will be a clear demonstration of how we have created a synthesis with the civic world to adequately represent it.
Since its inception, Forza Italia has always sought to find solutions to local issues and problems.
We can no longer see Arezzo as a province treated as "last" by certain regional policies
By voting for Forza Italia, citizens know they will be electing a representative who will defend them from questionable regional policies, too often narrowly ideological, that have failed to prioritize the interests of the Arezzo area.
This is what we have always done and what we will do also for these regional elections.
Mery Cornacchini reiterated her commitment to protecting the most vulnerable, a central theme of her election campaign.
Lucia Cherici thanked everyone for the trust placed in her and her association, E-Lab, which works to improve services to citizens and support businesses and enterprises.
Carlo Menci emphasized the importance of representing the Tiber Valley, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening the role of the Sansepolcro hospital and the local business community.
Forza Italia is thus preparing for the regional elections with a team determined to promote the Arezzo area, working on concrete programs that will be presented in the coming weeks.
