Carla Zambelli, Bonelli: I only did my duty, I'm receiving death threats

Carla Zambelli , a Brazilian MP wanted by Interpol and sentenced to ten years for pointing a gun at a journalist in São Paulo, was arrested last night at 9 pm in Rome, thanks to a tip-off from Angelo Bonelli , leader of Europa Verde.
Bonelli explained:

Yesterday I received information with her exact address and reported it to the police commissioner. The police took action and arrested her. She didn't turn herself in voluntarily, as was reported. I was simply doing my duty as a citizen.
After the news, Bonelli reported receiving serious death threats :
"I'm getting terrible messages. But I'd do it all again. Avoiding another case like Almasri's is a civic duty."
Finally, he commented on Matteo Salvini 's desire to visit Carla Zambelli:
"It's his right as a representative of the Republic. If he wants to do so, he's free to do so."
