Milan – Salvini at Savini to launch the League and the center-right's push for the municipal elections. No typos. Deputy Prime Minister and Northern League leader Matteo Salvini will participate in the conference "Milano Futura - Costruiamo Insieme Milano" tomorrow at 6:00 PM at the Savini restaurant, in the heart of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The Lombards are attempting to counterattack, at a very difficult time for the center-left municipal administration, which has been hit by a prosecutor's investigation into urban planning that has cost former councilor Giancarlo Tancredi his job and Mayor Giuseppe Sala his place under investigation.

The League's conference aims to open a dialogue with a segment of Milan's civil society and business sectors. Among the speakers listed in the conference's official press release, Ferruccio Resta stands out. He is the former rector of the Polytechnic University of Milan, currently president of the Polytechnic Foundation, and has often been mentioned as a possible mayoral candidate. Tomorrow, Resta will likely explain the reason for his presence at the League conference and whether or not he is interested in running for the most prestigious seat at Palazzo Marino.

The other speakers? Roberto Parodi, engineer, writer, journalist, and host, brother of journalist sisters Cristina and Benedetta Parodi; Geronimo La Russa, president of the Italian Automobile Club (ACI); Simone Crolla, managing director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy; Federico Oriana, president of Aspesi Milan; Simonpaolo Buongiardino, vice president of Confcommercio Milan; Michele Testa of Confartigianato Milan; Massimiliano Pirola, provincial secretary of the Autonomous Police Union of Milan; Daniele Vincini, regional secretary of Sulpl; Rosaria Iardino, president of The Bridge Foundation and former Democratic Party city councilor; Pasquale Ferri of the Orsa Transport Union of Lombardy; Mauro Ferraresi of the "Prohibition – the heart doesn't stop" movement; Filippo Borsellino of the Suspended Families Committee, the families who purchased the properties subsequently seized by the Prosecutor's Office.

Meanwhile, Lega Nord's Milanese secretary Samuele Piscina emphasizes: "Confident that this administration's days are numbered, and hoping they don't want to continue this bloodbath for Milan, Matteo Salvini and the Lega Nord are building a citizen-friendly electoral platform, convinced that ideas are crucial even before names. This is why we organized an event focused on listening to business groups, associations, and Milanese personalities. We thank all the speakers who enthusiastically offered their time to help us build the Milan of the future, more inclusive, citizen- and worker-friendly. A city for all that doesn't exclude the lower-middle classes and can start over."
