Majority Resolution, Negotiated Solution for Iran and Gaza

Continue to “support Ukraine”; "support every negotiating effort aimed at solving the ongoing crisis in the Middle East", both with regards to "the "Iranian nuclear issue", both to reach the "cease the fire in Gaza and the resolution of the conflict Israeli-Palestinian with the 'two peoples, two states' solution. These are essentially the commitments that are asked of the Government with the draft resolution of the majority which will have to to be voted on after the announcements from Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in view of the European Council expected at 3pm in the Chamber. This is the full text of the commitments contained in the draft: "1) to continue to support Ukraine at all times necessary, for a perspective that leads immediately to the cessation the fire, while remaining hopeful of a quick conclusion of peace negotiations, working with the European Union, with the United States and traditional allies to reach peace founded on the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and on the international law, together with Ukraine and partners international; to underline at the same time the importance of the active participation of the European Union countries in the Conference on Ukraine Recovery Conference - URC) that Italy will host in Rome on 10-11 July 2025; 2) to support any negotiating effort aimed at finding a solution of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, on the one hand reiterating the need to reach a diplomatic and lasting solution of the Iranian nuclear issue, on the other hand continuing the diplomatic effort to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and to the settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with the "two peoples, two states" solution, adopting immediate and concrete initiatives aimed at: a) alleviating the suffering of civilians in the humanitarian emergency in the Gaza Strip Gaza; b) obtain the complete release of the hostages."
