Piedmont Regional Council approves IRPEF budget move

It was voted by majority in The Piedmont Regional Council is making a move on Irpef, which provides for the application of the following for the tax periods 2026 and 2027: an increase in the regional surcharge rate of 0.55 percent for incomes above 15 thousand and up to 28 thousand euros, and 0.56 percent for incomes above 28 thousand and up to 50 thousand euros. From the 2026 tax period, the following will also apply: deductions of 100 euros for taxpayers with more than two children dependent, for each child, and 500 euros for taxpayers with dependent children with disabilities, always for each child. From 2028 the regional additional tax rate will be remodulated with the transition from four to three tranches of income. The approval will be final with the final vote of the Draft law "Adjustment to the budget forecast" financial 2025 - 2027". In today's session the following were voted on: almost all of the 1,367 amendments presented and on Monday the Chamber should close the examination of the measure, then examining the thirty-two connected address acts.
