Salary increases in the Region and Municipalities, the final word hasn't been said yet.

"Tuesday's picket line can be called off, but Councilor Pierpaolo Roberti should give us something more." This is the CGIL's response to yesterday's open signals from the regional councilor for public service to resume negotiations on salary increases for regional and local government employees.
Cisal was less diplomatic when, through its secretary Paola Alzetta, she told Telefriuli today: "I don't see where Roberti is being open."
Yesterday, Roberti announced that it is possible to reopen the dialogue, under two conditions: not going beyond the limits imposed by the Court of Auditors and canceling the protest announced by the CGIL for next Tuesday in front of the Regional Council.
"Roberti's," comments Orietta Olivo, regional secretary of the CGIL FP, "is not an opening, but a demand for surrender. We can even consider withdrawing the protest, but only if we receive something more. The councilor, whom we recognize for the effort he has made thus far, should resubmit the amendment and commit to providing guidelines to improve the contract, including from a legal perspective."
"We never closed the dialogue," Alzetta says, "but simply responded that 7.5% of the contract is still too little. Also because not everything would go towards the base salary."
Last Friday, Roberti withdrew the amendment to the budget adjustment that included €13 million for the renewal of the Single Sector contract, with a 7.5% salary increase and a 2% increase for company welfare. These figures had satisfied the CISL and UIL, but not the CGIL FP and CISAL, for which the increase doesn't even cover half of inflation.
