Today, at the Bovisa Campus, businesses and institutions will engage with the world of research during the event 'The Fair Ecosystem: AI between Research and Business' organized by Fair , a non-profit fund whose 25 founding partners include 14 universities, 4 research institutions, and 7 companies. The fund, which uses PNRR funds, is pursuing AI research.
The goal will be to showcase the real impact of projects developed within Italy's largest ecosystem dedicated to artificial intelligence. The Foundation collaborates with 53 universities and research institutions and 83 companies. Seventy-six companies have won cascading calls, a tool through which Fair finances joint projects between the Foundation's public research institutions and private companies to foster collaboration between research and industry.
The day will open with institutional greetings and an introduction by Giuseppe De Pietro, president of the Fair Foundation, while Marta Rapallini, program manager of the Foundation, will offer an overview of the Fair ecosystem and the synergies developed between universities, research centers, and businesses.
This will be followed by the session "AI between research and business," with the presentation of four winning projects from the Fair cascade calls, described directly by the companies involved. After lunch, 15 more winning companies will present their projects.
Finally, the afternoon will be enlivened by a talk show broadcast live on ANSA.it , moderated by Alessio Jacona (ANSA AI Observatory), with guests from the academic, industrial, and institutional worlds who will discuss the future of AI in Italy.
