A genius: he wanted to paint his Donkey Kong cartridge and ended up grinding his Switch 2

Jungle of Sadness - A guy decided to paint the Donkey Kong Bananza video game cartridge and is now complaining that his Nintendo Switch 2 no longer works. Because of course, what could go wrong when you paint a piece of precision electronics with nail polish?
A few days ago, the new game about the world's most beloved gorilla (well, after Harambe) was released for the Switch 2, which generated excitement... and complaints. The main one: that Nintendo didn't release the cartridge in yellow, like it did with Donkey Kong 64 .
Nintendo didn't want to release the new Donkey in the correct color.They should've made the Donkey Kong Bananza cartridge yellow like DK64

Although many gamers protested the cartridge's generic color, no one thought to paint it. None, except for one TikTok user identified as Gardner , who proudly shared his remarkable feat on video.
In his post, Gardner shows how he painted the cartridge mustard yellow—"as it always should have been"—and then how it got stuck in his console's slot. Because aesthetics come first, functionality second.
It even shows that the cartridge no longer makes the classic "click," a clear sign that he had completely ruined it. And like any good tutorial on what not to do, he tried to remove it with tweezers... by breaking it.
@gardnerhartung Any suggestions before I tear open my console? I might already have a solution for a new cartridge case… #nintendo #donkeykongbananza #dk #donkeykong #switch2 #switch #diy #gametok ♬ original sound – Gardner
Now, Gardner is left without a cartridge, without a Switch… and possibly without self-esteem.
And if Nintendo is known for anything, it's being capricious and not doing what its consumers want, like the Zelda issue that simply doesn't remaster Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass or Zelda II, or that they never made a port of Zelda Windwaker for the first Switch.
Moral of the story: If you're going to tune something, start with the car. Or better yet, don't paint electronics with off-the-shelf enamel. Nintendo isn't responsible for ideas worthy of Homer Simpson.
And to keep up to date: the band Oasis mocked Coldplay for showing people off.eldeforma
