AI-generated images of naked minors are being disseminated at a school in León

A group of parents of students from the Obispo Argüelles Secondary Education Institute in Villablino, León , have filed a complaint for the dissemination of images generated byArtificial Intelligence in which the minors appear naked.

Sources from the León Government Subdelegation have confirmed that four affected parents have filed a complaint at the Civil Guard Post in the León municipality.

Police officers are currently continuing their investigations to try to clarify the events that occurred at the school.

Several cases of image alteration and dissemination

This is not the only case in which images, created or modified with AI, have been disseminated in recent days. On February 15, the National Police arrested a minor in Palma for using Artificial Intelligence to create nude images of five schoolmates and disseminate them .

The relatives of the victims said that, at first glance, the nudes looked " real " and that they had to look at the photos "several times" and look closely to realise that it was a montage.

The Civil Guard of Valencia is also investigating the commission of a crime of revealing secrets by five minors for modifying and then distributing photos using AI of students from various educational centers. A total of seventeen women were identified as victims, thirteen of them minors.
