Americanists outraged by revelation that Chespirito didn't support América

Nido Herido, CDMX.– The Americanista fans are going through an unprecedented existential crisis after the shocking revelation—made in the series Sin Querer Queriendo —that Roberto Gómez Bolaños, alias Chespirito, was actually rooting for Chivas.

They believed that Chespirito was their symbol

On social media, the protests were immediate. With hashtags like #ChanfleTraidor, #ChivaEncubierta, and #YoViEsaPelículaConFe, thousands of Americanistas demanded a public apology from the Gómez Bolaños family, the Guadalajara Club, and even Florinda Meza, "just in case."

For its part, América issued a brief statement stating that El Chanfle "is a work of fiction that transcends colors," but that out of respect for the character's legacy, they will review whether it is necessary to remove him from the Azulcrema Hall of Fame... or at least move him to the back.

“Now they just have to say that Chayanne's 'Fiesta en América' wasn't meant as an anthem for our team, because now we'd have nothing left... except the wallet I just stole ,” another Águilas fan expressed.
