Atlas underwent a complete transformation compared to their deplorable performance against Chivas. They kept a clean sheet and avoided defeat in front of thousands of fans at Estadio Jalisco. However, the 0-0 draw against defending champion Toluca does little to help them qualify for the Play-In tournament. Their 17 points offer little chance, forcing them to win their final match against Xolos and hope for favorable results elsewhere.
