Environmental contingency activated in the Valley of Mexico, will there be a Double No Circulation Today?
This Wednesday afternoon, the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) activated an atmospheric environmental contingency for Ozone in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico.

He explained that a high pressure system over the eastern part of the Valley of Mexico caused, during the day, winds with light intensity and variable direction, which prevailed during the day, which in combination with intense solar radiation, favored the accumulation of ozone precursors for the formation of the pollutant .
This Thursday, February 27, they must suspend their circulation, from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m .:
- Private vehicles with verification hologram 2.
- Private vehicles with verification hologram 1, whose last numerical digit is 1,2,4,6,8 and 0.
- Private vehicles with verification hologram 00 and 0, green sticker, plate ending 1 and 2
- Vehicles that do not carry a verification hologram, such as old vehicles, demonstration or transfer vehicles, new vehicles, those with a tourist pass, foreign license plates or license plates made up of letters, are subject to the same restriction as vehicles that carry hologram 2.
- Restriction on the circulation of 50% of LP gas distribution units to stationary tanks, which do not have a dry disconnection valve, whose registration number ends in EVEN.
- Local or federal cargo vehicles stop circulating between 6:00 and 10:00 hours, with the exception of those that are in the CDMX or EDOMEX Self-Regulation Program.
- Taxis with verification hologram "00", "0", "1" or "2" that must stop circulating according to the provisions indicated in sections 1), 2), and 3), will be restricted from circulating from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
