Half a century of distance learning from Calatayud: the UNED center celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The university campus, which serves 4,000 students, looks to the future with more than a hundred training programs, including bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctorates, and courses.
Fifty years ago, the Director General of Universities of the Ministry of Education, Cruz Martínez Esteruelas , signed the order establishing the associated center of the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in the city of Calatayud. Half a century later, based in the building that was the Jesuit school attended by the illustrious Baltasar Gracián, the institution, with support from the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, the Calatayud City Council, and, since 1994, the Government of Aragon, has reached 4,000 students, with an academic offering supported by 30 undergraduate degrees, two doctorates, 80 master's degrees, and a wide range of training courses.
