Nayarit boasts stability and seeks to consolidate itself as the safest state in the country

Mexico City – The governor of Nayarit, Miguel Ángel Quintero, met with the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, to review the progress of the security strategy in the state and agree on new joint actions.

During the meeting, held in Mexico City, both officials emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination between the three levels of government to guarantee peace and stability in the state.

According to the president, Nayarit is currently one of the most stable states in the country, so the goal is to continue strengthening public policies that reinforce citizen trust in institutions.

“With the support of the government of the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, we will continue to carry out a joint strategy to maintain security and justice in the state,” Quintero said.

Later, the governor held a second meeting with the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), Hugo Aguilar Ortiz, as well as with ministers of the highest court, including Azael Figueroa from Nayarit.

At the meeting, the state governor reaffirmed that his administration is working to consolidate Nayarit as a state with a transparent judiciary, close to the citizens and with a vision for the future, capable of responding to social needs and strengthening the rule of law.

Finally, Quintero emphasized that his government will maintain constant coordination with the federal security cabinet and the judiciary to preserve social peace and guarantee sustainable institutional development in Nayarit. (With information from El Universal)
