Teacher arrested for probable responsibility in rape crime against 4-year-old girl

A school teacher is under arrest for his probable responsibility in a sexual crime, the victim is a minor under 4 years of age.

The man arrested for his probable responsibility in the crime of equivalent rape is identified as Saul "NN" who is currently detained in the facilities of the Men's Social Rehabilitation Center (CERESO) in Torreón.

It was last week that the then teacher of a school located on 615 Libertad Boulevard, in the Monterreal neighborhood of Torreón, was arrested by the authorities and presented before the Judge of the Case.

Following due process, the initial hearing was held on Thursday, February 20 in a room at the Torreón Criminal Justice Center, where Saul “NN” He was accused of his probable responsibility in the crime of rape, qualified by being committed in an educational center and against a minor under 15 years of age.

At the hearing, the Control Judge found the necessary evidence to link the accused to the process and ordered preventive detention as a precautionary measure to be served in the Torreón Cereso, where Saul "NN" was admitted.

The parties involved also requested a three-month period for the complementary investigation, which was granted by the Control Judge, so the legal process will continue next May.

In a statement, the school informed parents of the teacher's dismissal and specified that they learned of the teacher's legal proceedings from third parties and that they are not involved in what happened.

Dear parents: We hereby inform you that the legal process in which one of our teachers is involved is, as of today, OUTSIDE our institution. To date, February 25 of this year, we have NOT received a report from any parent indicating any alleged harm to their minor.

Currently, we do NOT have any information from any legal authority related to this case. The only information we have has been provided to us by the teacher's family, who have limited themselves to informing us that he is facing legal proceedings, without specifying the crime, victims or offended parties.

By law, we cannot intervene or be notified if we are not a victim, offended or accused , so any true or false information on the matter may affect due process, for this reason, we remain out of the situation. In the meantime, we as an institution continue to provide the quality and warmth educational service that characterizes us with our well-established educational and security protocols.
