And that's what this driver did. As if to "test" the system, he asked to be taken to a place he'd never been before. It's understood he meant a new place to eat... the car had other priorities.
So the vehicle obeyed, swerved without hesitation, and headed toward a gym. A place where, in fact, the driver had never stopped in his life, something that—according to witnesses—was obvious.
Seeing that there wasn't even a single diner in the plaza they'd arrived at, the human "pilot" began shouting at the car: "Go to hell!", disapproving of the Tesla's decision instead of interpreting it as a divine... and technological sign that it was time to fulfill his New Year's resolutions.
