VIDEO | Bridge collapses in South Korea, killing three

SEOUL - Three people were killed and five others injured after a bridge collapsed on the Cheonan Expressway in South Korea, authorities said.
The National Fire Agency, cited by EFE, said it had issued an order to mobilise firefighters to search for people missing in the accident.
According to Yonhap media, at around 9:49 am on Tuesday the 25th, an accident occurred where a structure on top of a bridge pillar collapsed at a highway construction site in Dorim-ri, Ipjang-myeon, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.
Firefighters are carrying out rescue operations at the scene, reporting that several workers were trapped in the accident.

According to the same media, workers were standing outside the bridge when it collapsed, and were crushed. Three of the workers were reported dead at the site, while five were severely injured, so the death toll was initially reported at eight people.
