Who was 'Camilo Ochoa,' the former drug trafficker and influencer murdered in Morelos?

Last weekend, influencer Carlos Ochoa Delgado, known as "Camilo Ochoa" or "El Alucín," the son of a wealthy family, was murdered.
Ochoa Delgado, 42, was killed on Saturday in Temixco, Morelos. During his time as an influencer, he had dedicated himself to talking about the Sinaloa Cartel, drawing on his experience as a drug trafficker, a life from which he had retired after being imprisoned.
In August 2022, "Camilo Ochoa" was interviewed by journalist Adela Micha on her YouTube channel, La Saga, in which he declared himself a former drug trafficker, having been in charge of the Mazatlán plaza between 2014-2015, being arrested that year and sentenced to seven years in prison .
He stated that he met drug lord Dámaso López in 2014 and moved from living in Mexico City to Mazatlán, where he had previously been involved in drug trafficking. When questioned by the journalist about his past, the influencer preferred to withhold the name of his parents, stating only that he came from "a wealthy family."
He recounted that in 2004, when he was about 20 years old, he was kidnapped by the Zetas after living for a while in Nuevo Laredo. He began doing business with customs agents using confiscated goods, which he then sold illegally in Monterrey, but outside of drug trafficking. He also boasted about his luxuries, such as the latest model cars.
He said that around 15 trucks and about 60 individuals came to his home, broke down the door, and then deprived him of his liberty. He also identified them as agents of the now-defunct Federal Investigation Agency (AFI).
He said that after his release seven days later, he moved to Guasave, Sinaloa, and then to Guadalajara. While there, thanks to his friends, "doors opened for him," and he entered drug trafficking "for adrenaline, for pleasure."
"I had to go through all those stages, having fallen and gotten back up, to now... come and change people's thinking," he said at the time.
He stated that his relationship with Dámaso López was how he advanced his position in drug trafficking, but after the arrest of "El Chapo" Guzmán and the beginning of the alleged betrayal of Dámaso López, he decided to retire, Although the boss ordered him to be killed, the order was not carried out and he spent seven years in prison.
Once released, he stated that he gave an interview that went viral, and from then on, he began to talk about his experience in drug trafficking and flaunt his luxuries on social media.
In his latest TikTok video, Camilo Ochoa called for a peace march in Sinaloa and criticized the lack of concern for those responsible for the economic crisis.
Meanwhile, journalist Nacho Lozano shared a recently recorded video of the influencer stating that they had tried to murder him and his family in an alleged robbery to "wipe him off the map" and obtain his phones.
He alleged that someone, unidentified, wanted his phones "to see who was sending me the information, where the audio recordings of "El Mini Lic" were coming from, along with the government to take him down."
The family businessCamilo Ochoa was the son of one of the founders of the El Pollo Loco and Pollo Feliz restaurant chains, according to his statements in interviews. While none of the chains operating in northern Mexican states or the United States have been accused of links to drug trafficking, they have been affected by acts of violence, such as when six restaurants were burned in Nuevo León last March.
