What are the six sustainable solutions like Ecoconpack and Ecoxop?
EcoConpack and EcoXop are detergent and disinfection solutions based on concentrated products, the dilution of which is carried out at the client's installations using automatic dilution and dosing systems. It is sold in lightweight packaging, designed to minimize plastic waste and reduce waste. Això allows you to be transported and emmagatzematge, while reducing emissions and increasing safety and profitability for the client. Furthermore, the detergent products qualify for the EU Ecolabel ecological certification.
Ecoduo has been recognized with the Ecodisseny Catalunya Award. What is the special thing that will impact you on the market?
EcoDuo will be presented in 2023 at the Premi Catalunya d'Ecodisseny in the category of developed products and will be launched on the market this April. The previous tests have been very positive and have great expectations. It is a system for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces that eliminates the packaging of a sun. It is based on an innovative reusable powder ampoule with a rechargeable water tank, to which a concentrated product consumable is incorporated. The dilution required for you is generated automatically at the time of powdering. The system promotes high levels of circularity and provides environmental, economic and operational value.
What measures are implemented to reduce plastic use in packaging?
Our strategy is based on the 3Rs: reduce (or eliminate), reuse and recycle. We work with post-consumer recycled materials (PCR), promote the use of reusable and recyclable containers and incorporate return and reuse systems for IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) containers. During these darrers, we have executed a strategic packaging plan that culminates in this and that has allowed us to achieve the objectives defined in reduction, reuse and recycling, achieving high levels of circularity in our products.
How does this strategy affect the reduction of CO₂ emissions?
The use of concentrated products, which our customers can dilute at the various facilities, drastically reduces emissions during transportation. Això also implies less generation of waste and more efficient use of plastic.
Who knew this was the transition to more sustainable packaging?

Who are the main lines of innovation in which you work?
We develop biobased detergents (enzymàtics, probiotics, etc.) for cleaning and disinfection processes at low temperatures; netting and disinfection systems in a single phase to save water; new multicavitat and multifunctional water-soluble capsules; Our surface treatments based on nanotechnology, and IoT systems for remote control of our clients' processes. We are committed to open innovation, collaborating with universities, technology centres, suppliers and clients to advance greener and more efficient chemistry.
How are R+D projects guided to advance more sustainable chemistry?
Integrate ecodesign from the initial phase of product development, taking into account the origin of the raw materials, substituting the synthetic origin with renewable vegetal alternatives, and employing safer and more biodegradable raw materials. We also designed processes on our products that allow for greater energy and water consumption efficiency, reducing the overall environmental impact of customer processes. Currently, we have more than 60 products with the EU Ecolabel certification, divided into 8 different categories, which guarantee the highest level of environmental protection and safety.
Who else will assume the new magatzem for the company's operations?
The new logistical magazine, which will come into operation this May, is one of the great fits of the company. With more than 8,500 m² of useful surface, the new installations in these allow to significantly increase the capacity of shipping finished products, improve the efficiency of the logistics process and streamline the service to our clients.
