Mazón replies to Sánchez that "what is indecent is trying to extract political benefit from tragedy."
The president of the Valencian Government, Carlos Mazón, stated this Sunday that "what is indecent is trying to extract political benefit from pain and tragedy, in order to cover up the corruption scandals that surround him."
Mazón, in a message published on his official account on the social network X, thus responded to the statements made today in León by the President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, in which he described as "indecent" that the leaders of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and of Vox, Santiago Abascal, continue to support the President of the Valencian Government despite his "negligent" management of the dana.
The Valencian president replied to Sánchez that "your attacks only highlight the fatal errors of the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation and the State Meteorological Agency, which have been proven and are dependent on the Spanish government."
"What is indecent is trying to extract political benefit from pain and tragedy to cover up the corruption scandals surrounding him," he adds.

And he adds that "what is miserable is not providing aid to 34,000 families affected by the flood as you do, and what is abject is stating that 'if they need help, they should ask for it.'"
Mazón also points out that "he no longer has any excuses for not collaborating in the reconstruction, as we have asked him on numerous occasions."
And he concludes: "He no longer has any excuses for continuing to neglect the Valencian people."
