Forgetful

My aunt’s 94-year-old mother-in-law still lives independently but is becoming somewhat forgetful. She calls my aunt to tell her that she has lost her phone. No matter what my aunt tries to explain, namely that she is holding it in her hand because she is on the phone, it doesn’t help: she really can’t find it. Eventually my aunt cycles over to her. When she comes in, her mother-in-law is waiting, beaming: “I found it again! After I called you, I saw it lying on my table next to the chair!”
