Another Olympia has started

On April 23, on the sports field at the School and Kindergarten Complex in Wisznia Mała, the signing of the contract for the implementation of the next OLYMPIA in our commune took place.

The task being implemented: "Construction of a permanent roof over the existing multi-purpose sports field at the School and Kindergarten Complex in Wisznia Mała" will include, among others, the construction of a roof with social facilities, the delivery of a mobile shooting range, the delivery of sports equipment and small architecture, and the renovation of the sports field. The project is co-financed from the state budget under the program "Olimpia - Program for the construction of school sports halls for the 100th anniversary of the first appearances of the Polish national team at the Olympic Games" and from the budget of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship under the program "Lower Silesian Sports Base Development Fund". The value of this infrastructure investment is over PLN 2.5 million.

The investment is to be completed this year and will serve children and young people in organizing various sports and recreational activities. Thanks to its versatility, the facility will enable classes in various disciplines, such as football, basketball, volleyball, athletics and shooting. Such a pitch will give students the opportunity to practice sports in safe conditions, which will contribute to their health and fitness.
