Residents of the capital have been waiting for this route for a long time. The completion of the work is now truly in sight.

According to the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the 34.64 km long S7 Płońsk-Czosnów section, which has been undergoing intensive roadworks for several years, may be opened this year.
Work on individual sections of the investment is well advanced. On the indicated section, the expressway's substructure and surface are currently being constructed, and paving work is underway. Bridge work and work related to the reconstruction of the intersection with underground utilities are also underway. Construction of acoustic screens and their infill are also underway.
The expansion of the dual carriageway to the parameters of an expressway was divided into three implementation sections.
- Płońsk Południe (Siedlin) – Załuski commune, approximately 12.9 km long,
- Załuski – Modlin, approximately 12 km long, and
- Modlin – Czosnów, approximately 9.7 km long.
And these robots are 79%, 87% and 95% advanced, respectively.
Theoretically, or rather in accordance with the agreements concluded in 2020 with the contractors of these sections, these works were to be completed in the summer of 2025. However, annexes extending the completion time were signed for all contracts, under which the works are to be completed in March 2026 in the case of the Płońsk Południe – Załuski section, while for the other two sections it is August 2025.
According to GDDKiA , the contractors of all three sections are in the process of processing their demands, who expect an extension of the completion time or additional financial resources .
Despite this, GDDKiA announces that the road will be ready for completion this year.
Regardless of the ongoing contract procedures, we are mobilizing contractors to make the main route of all sections available this year.
