Shows by masters and authorities

– From 15 March we invite you to the XXXI International Festival of Pleasant and Unpleasant Plays, which traditionally opens the festival procession in the new calendar year. This will be an edition of outstanding creators and authorities, and at the same time an edition of “increased artistic risk”: we will present as many as three performances, the premieres of which are yet to come – announces Ewa Pilawska, artistic director and creator of the festival, head of the Powszechny Theatre in Łódź. As the main theme of this year's edition, she proposed the slogan: “Community?”.
