The long weekend begins on Thursday, August 14th. The day will be clear, with a slight chance of cloud cover in some areas. Temperatures will range from 25-27 degrees Celsius in the northeast to 32-33 degrees Celsius in the south, west, and parts of the center of the country. Winds will be light, with some moderate winds along the coast.
The IMWM's orange heat warnings are still in effect. They were issued from 12:00 PM on Wednesday and will remain in effect until 8:00 PM on Friday. Level 2 alerts apply across the entire Lubusz, Greater Poland, Łódź, Opole, and Silesian Voivodeships.

Additionally, yellow heat warnings will be in effect from Thursday at 12:00 PM until Friday at 8:00 PM. These warnings have been issued for the entire Podkarpacie region and parts of the West Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lesser Poland, Masovian, Świętokrzyskie, and Lublin provinces. The warnings will also cover Człuchów and Chojnów counties in Pomerania, and Nowe Miasto and Działdowo counties in the Warmian-Masurian province. This warning may also be extended.
The weather forecast for the long weekend is expected to change on Friday.Friday marks the beginning of a change in the weather in the northwest, with precipitation, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds. Showers will also be possible in the Tatra Mountains. It will remain hot. Temperatures will reach up to 34 degrees Celsius in the west, and from 27 degrees Celsius in the northeast, around 31 degrees Celsius in the center. Near the coast, temperatures will reach 23 to 26 degrees Celsius in places.
Saturday will be sunny in southeast Poland, with clouds, scattered showers, and local thunderstorms expected across the rest of the country. The mercury will reach 19 degrees Celsius on the coast, and 22 degrees Celsius in the north. Temperatures in the southeast, south, and locally in the center will be hot, with highs of 30 to 31 degrees Celsius. Winds will be light to moderate, gusty during storms.

Temperatures will range from 18 degrees Celsius on the coast and 19 degrees Celsius in the northeast, to around 24 degrees Celsius in the center, and 26 degrees Celsius in the southeast. It will generally be sunny, with increased cloud cover, scattered showers, and local thunderstorms expected in the northeast. Winds will generally be moderate and gusty.
