Energy transformation is a challenge for future generations. We have known for a long time that the European Union's goal is climate neutrality. That is why alternatives are being sought.

Biomethane , biogas and hydrogen are promising. However, before they can be widely used, the use of these fuels must reach both technological and business maturity.

In the latter case, price is key.

PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny is already starting to work on offers for its clients who want to use biogas and biomethane, says WNP company president Beata Kurdelska, who participated in the 17th European Economic Congress .

- The Orlen Group also has hydrogen in its offer and we hope that we will be ready to meet the needs of our customers also in this area - emphasizes President Kurdelska.

The company must therefore build an appropriate offer. Are customers already interested in this type of media?

Yes, the interest is slowly growing – admits the manager.

This results from the fact that among PGNiG OD's clients there are also companies and concerns that pay particular attention to energy transformation and meeting environmental requirements.

Such companies want to implement the energy transformation themselves.

It is worth adding, however, that the vast majority of PGNiG OD's approximately 7 million customers are individual recipients. What about them? The company expects that the company will carry out the energy transformation for them, and PGNiG OD is preparing for this.
