Exact Sciences opens international hub in Poland

Exact Sciences , a leading provider of oncology screening and diagnostic tests, has launched an international hub in Warsaw. The center supports the company's operations in dozens of markets across EMEA, LATAM, APAC, and Canada.
It is intended to help patients and doctors make better decisions early in the disease process – when they matter most.
The Exact Sciences team in Poland currently comprises nearly 100 experts of various nationalities. They provide multidisciplinary support in key areas, such as:
- medical affairs,
- clinical affairs,
- patient advocacy,
- marketing,
- logistics,
- IT,
- PMO,
- talent acquisition.
The Warsaw center is also the main location of the international service team responsible for the overall coordination of the process, from accepting the test order to delivering the results to doctors.
"The recently launched Exact Sciences hub in Poland confirms the strategic role our country plays in the company's structure. We are building an international team that supports the organization's activities on many levels – from medical matters, through customer service and market development, to educational activities. People play a key role – full of passion, competence, and commitment to our mission," says Paweł Krogulec , Country Manager Poland & CEE at Exact Sciences.
"We are focusing our efforts locally on providing breast cancer patients with access to genomic testing , which plays an important role in making treatment decisions. We believe that this solution – widely available in other European countries – will soon be available to Polish women as well," she adds.
Exact Sciences employs over 7,000 people worldwide. Its international operations—covering all markets outside the US—are managed from its headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, and supported by a hub in Poland.
From these two centers, the company provides access to diagnostic tests, expands its presence in the region, and effectively implements operational processes – all to deliver the most modern diagnostic solutions to patients and specialists faster and more effectively.
"In our work, we contribute to the eradication of cancer. Every action we take is driven by this mission. I am proud to inaugurate our international center in Poland, which will help patients around the world gain greater access to genomic testing. We want to co-create a future in which cancers are detected earlier and treated in a more personalized way," emphasizes Raj Pudipeddi , Chief Growth Officer at Exact Sciences.
"Poland was chosen as the location for our center due to its unique strategic potential and access to world-class specialists. It's a country with a thriving environment of innovation and collaboration. These are precisely the conditions necessary to support the company's global operations and implement our ambitious growth plans in international markets," he adds.
Exact Sciences offers innovative diagnostic tests that enable earlier cancer detection and help doctors make more accurate treatment decisions. These include multigene tests that support optimal treatment selection tailored to the individual needs of breast cancer patients.
The company is also actively involved in educational and social initiatives. As part of its social commitment, Exact Sciences became a partner in the " Patient Perspectives on Breast Cancer Treatment in Poland " study, conducted by the Institute of Health Care in collaboration with the OnkoCafe – Razemlepszy Foundation , the OmeaLife Foundation, and the " Amazons " Federation.
The study's findings indicate that the physical and emotional burden of treatment is caused by chemotherapy side effects in nine out of ten patients. Multigene testing can help assess whether a patient will actually benefit from chemotherapy. However, awareness of these tests remains limited – only one in three eligible women has heard of the test. Breast cancer patients express a willingness to use multigene testing to safely discontinue chemotherapy.
