Bodyboarders mark 20 years of the “Miss Cup”

With just one month to go until the start of another edition of the Miss Quebramar Cup, this year, as the event organized by the Aveiro Surf Association is celebrating its 20th anniversary, the competition will once again welcome bodyboarding. The organization will celebrate the date by holding a National Women's Bodyboarding Meeting, which will bring together the best female bodyboarders, all with international awards. Thus, on the 31st of July and 1st of August, Costa Nova beach, in Ílhavo, will once again welcome the best national bodyboarders, to celebrate 20 years of the most fragrant championship in the world of bodyboarding. It is worth remembering that it was with a competition counting towards the European and world bodyboarding circuits that the, now called, Miss Quebramar Cup was born and, from the start, it won the sympathy of athletes from all over the world. In a kind of competitive gathering, without classification, but with guaranteed quality bodyboarding, the National Women's Bodyboard Meeting brings the discipline back to Costa Nova beach, after 15 editions and the hiatus that has lasted since the year of the pandemic. On the last two days of the Miss Quebramar Cup 2025, on August 2nd and 3rd, the competition for the National Women's Surfing Championship (Liga Meo) will take place, in which great performances are also expected, especially after the results achieved abroad.
As usual, there will be many activities to promote wave sports, with surfing experiences for the community. In this 21st edition, the Miss Quebramar Cup wants to surprise once again, so the Aveiro Surf Association invites everyone to be present on the Costa Nova sands.
