Cacilhas Lighthouse illuminates the end of Street Dance

The stage is privileged, with views over Lisbon, and the invitation is extended to all who wish to watch the best Street Dance performances in the country. The eight best dancers from the national qualifier and the eight invited wildcards will face off in the grand national final of Red Bull Dance Your Style, this Sunday, July 6th, at the Farol de Cacilhas, in Almada, starting at 6 pm. Entry is free, and Transtejo will also provide official transport across the Tagus.

The winner will represent Portugal among 60 participants from 51 countries who will meet in the world final of the competition, scheduled for October in Los Angeles.

For now, it's time to choose the best in the country, and for that Red Bull Dance Your Style has two luxury hosts , Bruno Abreu and Solange Dias, and music chosen by DJ Gui Mess, who will dictate the rhythm of the successive battles in which the public decides who wins, until the final battle.

"The final programme starts at 6pm with a DJ Warm Up where everyone can dance (Open Cypher)", the organisers also invite, indicating that the competition will start at 7pm, with the round of 16. There will also be time for Roller Dance, with Beatrix Lourix, Next Dance School, Waacking Portugal and Afro Cypher Side Act - Bluevision Team. And after the best of the night has been chosen, the party continues, from 10pm, with an After Party that promises to be unforgettable.

Before arriving here, Red Bull Dance Your Style toured the country, with three Open Qualifiers in Lisbon, Faro and Póvoa do Varzim, followed by one-on-one battles in the national qualifier in Porto, from which the eight finalists emerged in styles such as Hip Hop, Locking, Krump, House, Electo, Afro Dance, Fusion and Waacking.
