Coimbra restaurants receive distinctions from the Michelin Guide
The national gastronomic panorama was once again celebrated by the Michelin Guide. The ceremony took place at the Porto Congress Centre and honoured 196 establishments with a range of certificates.
The district of Coimbra enters the 2025 guide with seven different restaurants, five of which repeat their presence in the catalogue, but "Safra", located in Coimbra, enters as a newcomer in the "Recommended by the Michelin Guide" category.
In addition to the new entry, but still in the same category, we can find "O Palco" and "MA" (Coimbra) and "Rei dos Leitões" (Mealhada).
Awarded with the "Bib Gourmand" certification, it is possible to find "Solar do Bacalhau" (Coimbra), "Marquês de Marialva" (Cantanhede) and "Olaias" (Figueira da Foz).
