Comediem Club brings stand-up comedy to the Algarve

Comediem Club , a platform born in Setúbal and dedicated to promoting stand-up comedy shows, kicks off in August with a new tour entitled “Comediem Club em Viagem”, with special emphasis on performances in the Algarve, between the 12th and 15th of August.
The show brings together four emerging comedians from the national scene – João Alves, Miguel Moreira, Pedro Correia, and Afonso Alturas – and also features a special appearance by Pedro Sousa, one of Portugal's most recognized comics, in the Loulé and Tavira sessions. Special guests will also be available on some dates, according to the press release.
The Algarve tour begins on August 12th in São Bartolomeu de Messines, at the Sociedade de Instrução e Recreio Messinense. The following day, August 13th, the show takes to the stage at Bafo de Baco, in Loulé, with tickets already available through Ticketline. On August 14th, the comedy tour heads to Faro, performing at Palimpsestu Art Bar, concluding on August 15th in Tavira, at the Clube de Tavira, with reservations available by calling 925 295 302.

According to the Comediem Club, this initiative focuses on a relaxed, audience-friendly format, designed to bring stand-up comedy to places outside of major urban centers. "With experience in regular stand-up nights, podcasts, and independent comedy projects, these comedians decided to transform the summer and the southern roads into a traveling stage. The result is a direct, fun show with a clear objective: to provoke laughter and bring audiences together," the statement reads.
Before arriving in the Algarve, the tour will pass through Alentejo, with performances in Reguengos de Monsaraz (7 August), Évora (8), Beja (9) and Castro Verde (10).
