Company in which Greenvolt is a co-shareholder will install 10 photovoltaic projects in Germany

Energy Partners GmbH, a company in which Greenvolt has a minority stake, has partnered with GLP Clean Energy to install 10 rooftop PV projects in Germany totaling 23 megawatts (MW).
The panels will be installed on the roofs of logistics warehouses, with the first one expected to be completed by the end of February, with a capacity of 3.8 MW.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, Greenvolt informs that the electricity generated by the projects will be made available to GLP tenants. The terms of the project are Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), which allow for a reduction in electricity costs without the need for an initial investment.
Energy Partners CEO Mattias Giller is pleased that the company has “successfully completed the first photovoltaic project in Mönchengladbach within a very short timeframe, and that storage and electric mobility solutions can be implemented later, if necessary,” he said in statements cited in the document.
According to GLP Clean Energy senior director Stefano Fissolo, generating solar energy on site “is economically viable, reduces our tenants’ electricity bills and is sustainably profitable,” he points out.
Energy Partners GmbH was founded last year and is a subsidiary of MaxSolar GmbH.
