FNE will meet with the Government tomorrow about the Review of the Teaching Career Statute
“We recall that last week the FNE sent the MECI its first counterproposal regarding the matter of Teacher Mobility, included in the ongoing negotiations to review the ECD”, highlighted the federation.
The National Education Federation (FNE) will meet tomorrow, at 5:00 pm, with the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MECI), at the Ministry of Education facilities.
In a statement, the FNE explained that the agenda includes the Review of the Teaching Career Statute (ECD).
“We recall that last week the FNE sent the MECI its first counterproposal regarding the matter of Teacher Mobility, included in the ongoing negotiations to review the ECD”, highlighted the federation.
The statement also adds that “the FNE's counterproposal included contributions from union leaders and delegates from the seven FNE teachers' unions, who participated in the national union meeting held on February 12, 2025, as well as the results of the online National Consultation between the 13th and 19th of this month, which was attended by 2,157 teachers from mainland Portugal and the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira”.
