Football: Académica begins training with five reinforcements and undergoes medical examinations today

Académica returned yesterday morning to the Academia Briosa XXI pitch to begin work on the 2025/2026 season.
The training session was marked by the “enthusiasm of the squad and the technical team, in an environment of dedication and team spirit that are Briosa’s trademark”.
The new season began with the usual physical tests and adaptation exercises, in a session closely monitored by the entire staff. It should be noted that the technical team continues to be led by the head coach, António Barbosa, with David Caiado also as director for professional football.
“It is the first step on a path that we want to follow together, with the unconditional support of our members and fans”, reads a note released yesterday.
