Guadiana Jazz brings VRSA Memory of Fish and Carlos Bica Quartet 11:11

«Guadiana Jazz» is back at the Jardim da Avenida da República, in Vila Real de Santo António (VRSA), and this time, Memória de Peixe (August 3) and Carlos Bica Quarteto 11:11 (August 24) will be performing on stage, both at 7:30 pm and with free entry.

Created by Miguel Nicolau in 2011, this musical project conquered Portugal and Europe with its first two albums: «Memória de Peixe» (2012) and «Himiko Cloud» (2016).

Today, they are known for their live performances, which create a modern dialogue between jazz and rock, marked by moments of improvisation and a pop sensibility.

Miguel Nicolau (guitar), Pedro Melo Alves (drums) and Filipe Louro (bass) form the group Memória de Peixe and will present, in 2025, «III», the most recent chapter in their discography.

They have already performed on stages such as Ancienne Belgique (Belgium), L'Aéronef (France) or Sala Apolo (Barcelona) and performed at renowned festivals such as Primavera Sound, Milhões de Festa, Liverpool Sound City, Coquetel Molotov (Brazil) or Nilüfer Müzik Festivali (Türkiye).
