Jubilee brings together young people from all over the world in Rome

The Diocese of Guarda will participate in the Youth Jubilee, from July 28 to August 3 in Rome, which will culminate with the Mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV, in the Roman field of Tor Vergata.
The Youth Jubilee includes celebrations, gatherings, and festive moments that will involve hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world. The program includes a pilgrimage to the Holy Doors and a meeting with Pope Leo XIV at the prayer vigil on Saturday, August 2, and at Mass on Sunday, August 3, at Tor Vergata.
The Guide provides practical information about the program, mobility, the Pilgrim Kit, and the Jubilee Pass, as well as transportation and dining information. The same information is available in the official "Iubilaeum25" app, available on the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android.
The groups are expected to arrive on Monday, July 28th. On Tuesday, July 29th, at 7:00 p.m., a welcome Mass will take place in St. Peter's Square, while on the following days (July 30th and 31st), from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., there will be a Dialogue with the City, a series of cultural, artistic and spiritual activities spread across Rome's main squares.
On Friday, August 1st, from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm, the “Penitential Day” will take place at Circo Máximo.
Saturday, August 2, will be the day of the meeting with Pope Leo XIV at Tor Vergata Field, the historic and symbolic site where John Paul II met young people from around the world during the Jubilee of the year 2000. The vigil with the Pope will be from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. From 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., there will be entertainment with music and testimonies.
That night, the young people will spend the night at the Tor Vergata camp, where, on Sunday morning, the Pope will preside over Mass.
This Journey features a virtual assistant, "Gúlia," who provides pilgrims with useful information on mobility (public transportation wait times, train and airport connections, and taxi fares), suggestions for exploring the city (restaurants by area, type, and budget), tourist information points, public restrooms, cultural sites, museums, and events. Useful updates include the calendar of Jubilee celebrations, pharmacies on call, emergency room wait times, and Civil Protection alerts. With "Gúlia," pilgrims will have a comprehensive resource to make the most of their experience in Rome during the Jubilee.
