A tour of the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, which includes performances by Cláudio Vidal and the presentation of the new album by Ece Canli, are part of the closing programme of the exhibition “ A Fábrica das Sombras ” today. Tonight, curated by Jazz ao Centro Clube, the tour through the monastery begins, including performances by Cláudio Vidal and the presentation of the album SACROSUN, by artist and researcher Ece Canli, which consists of an «exercise in vocal composition and soundscape that traverses imaginary cosmos and subterranean textures», announced the organization.
There will be two guided tours this afternoon, “providing a unique opportunity for a guided approach to the work of Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller and the intimate dialogue it establishes with the architecture and history of the monastery”, the promoters also said. Tomorrow, the official closing day of the exhibition, representatives of the three entities that organize Anozero – Bienal de Coimbra will be present, namely the Círculo de Artes Plásticas, the local authority and the UC.
