The holidays of Ukrainian children who were victims of the war in Portugal

They are accompanied by their mothers and a volunteer doctor and have several visits organized to fill the 10 days they will spend in Portugal, between the 11th and 21st of this month. The vacation for these children, aged between 2 and 16, whose parents died in the war, is the result of an initiative by associations of the Ukrainian community in Portugal.
Promoted by the Association of Ukrainians in Portugal, the Association of Ukrainian Women in Portugal and the Benfica Parish Council, the project “Children of Heroes – warmed by sun and love” has the logistical and financial support of the software company Arquiconsult.
With the aim of "providing these families with a break from the war environment," "leisure moments" are also planned in Lisbon, according to a statement from the company supporting the initiative.
Trips to beaches, the Lisbon Oceanarium and the Pavilhão do Conhecimento are planned, as well as Badoca Safari Park, Fátima and the Mira D'Aire Caves.
