The Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating Ventura and Rita Matias for disclosing children's names.

The Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed, this Wednesday, the opening of an investigation into the president of Chega, André Ventura and deputy Rita Matias.
The issue at hand is the publication, in Parliament and on social media, of the names of immigrant children enrolled in preschool at a school in Lisbon.
“The opening of an investigation into the matter is confirmed,” the Attorney General's Office (PGR) said in a response sent to several media outlets.
Remember that André Ventura read the list of children's names in the Assembly of the Republic and Rita Matias shared them in a video posted on social media.
The disclosure was heavily criticized by political parties and several associations and shortly after the episode, which occurred in early July, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) announced the opening of an investigation process.
