Following an initial public consultation on the European Research Area legislative act , the deadline for which has now passed, the European Commission is inviting new contributions by 5 January 2026.
This call is for participation and the collection of general data on the challenges facing the development and full realisation of the European Research Area, together with stakeholders' views on viable solutions that could be supported by legislation at EU level.
The consultation is aimed at national and regional administrations and research and innovation communities, including higher education institutions, research-conducting bodies, private sector companies, including SMEs, technology centers, research and technology infrastructures, scientific advisory and technology assessment structures and organizations, scientific publishers, and the general public.
