Mora. Man dies in agricultural tractor rollover

A 58-year-old man died on Wednesday night after the tractor he was driving overturned on a farm in the municipality of Mora, Évora district, Civil Protection revealed this Thursday.

Speaking to Lusa news agency, a source from the Central Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command explained that the alert for the accident was given to the authorities at 11:55 p.m. The agricultural tractor overturned at Herdade Monte da Azinheira, in the parish of Pavia , the same source added.

The body of the fatal victim was taken to the forensic medicine services located at the Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora (HESE).

Twelve operators were mobilized to the scene of the accident, supported by five vehicles, including resources from the fire department, GNR and National Institute of Medical Emergency, with the emergency medical and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) from Évora.
