The second launch of the Ariane 6 rocket is postponed from February 26 and will take place on March 3 at 19:24 Moscow time. Thiswas reported on the X network by the European operator Arianespace .
The company specified that pre-launch “additional ground operations have been completed” and the rocket itself is “in a stable condition.” The payload for the second Ariane 6 launch is the French CSO-3 reconnaissance satellite, which is planned to be placed in a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of about 800 kilometers.
In January, European Spaceflight reported that operator Arianespace had scheduled a second launch of the Ariane 6 rocket for February 26 at 19:24 Moscow time.
In December, the same publication noted that the company had postponed the second launch of Ariane 6 from late 2024 to February 2025.
