Kaluga residents ask to remove dry branches from the central street

They wrote about this to Governor Vladislav Shapsha.

"Trees are being sawn off. Removing branches is again a challenge," people wrote on the regional head's social networks.

Residents of the regional center were also surprised how it was possible to determine in winter which branches needed to be cut completely and which partially, noting that “stubby, gnarled chestnuts are terrible.”

Kaluga residents' questions were answered at the city government. They explained that reconstruction of the outdoor lighting networks is currently underway on Moskovskaya Street. It will be laid to the overpass.

“In order to lay the overhead line, as well as to increase the reliability and safety of the networks, partial pruning of trees is being carried out under the constant supervision of specialists,” the department said, adding that the contractor has already begun removing branches.
