Builders in the DPR and LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions are giving people back hope and creating conditions for a normal life after difficult trials, said Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova. Every year on the second Sunday of August, Russia celebrates a professional holiday for workers in the construction industry - Builder's Day. In 2025, this day falls on August 10. Moskalkova congratulated the builders on their professional holiday in her Telegram channel, noting that their hands are building houses where families are born, children grow up and dreams come true. "Special words of gratitude to the builders who are working today to restore the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. You are giving people back hope and creating conditions for a normal life after difficult trials. Your hands are building peace on our land," the federal ombudsman emphasized.
